Tiivistelmä
Tämän opinnäytetyöaiheena aiheena oli henkilötuottavuuden kasvatus pelillistämisen (engl. gamifaction) avulla. Opinnäytetyö tehtiin Soldem Oy:lle. Soldem on myyntiorganisaatio, joka toimii pääsääntöisesti etäkanavissa. Soldem tuottaa erilaisia palveluita myyntiin ja asiakaspalveluun. Opinnäytetyössä laadittiin kyseiselle organisaatiolle johtamispeli, jota testattiin kahden kuukauden ajan. Työskentelytapaa ohjasi tutkimuksellinen kehittäminen, missä toimintaa kehitetään hyvin käytännönläheisesti, mutta tuloksia arvioidaan tutkimuksellisesti.
Teoriaosuudessa perehdyttiin pelillistämisen käsitteeseen sekä niihin johtamisen osatekijöihin, joihin pelillistämisellä pyrittiin ensisijaisesti vaikuttamaan. Teorian pohjalta luotiin hypoteesi ”myyntitiimit olisivat tuottavimpia, jos niitä johdettaisiin pelillistämisen avulla”. Johtamispeli luotiin yhdessä Soldemin myyntijohdon kanssa. Tutkimusstrategiaksi valikoitui kvantitatiivinen tutkimusmenetelmä. Hypoteesia tutkittiin ristiintaulukoinnilla, jossa vertailtiin kahden eri kohderyhmän muutoksia valituissa muuttujissa . Yksikön henkilöstö jaettiin kahteen osaan. Ryhmistä toista johdettiin johtamispelin avulla ja toinen ryhmä jatkoi normaalin operatiivisen arjen parissa. Työn tuloksena syntyi hypoteesi, teorian avulla luotu johtamispeli sekä testattu hypoteesi.
Lopputulosten perusteella hypoteesia voidaan pitää totuudenmukaisena ja johtamispelillä pystyttiin vaikuttamaan henkilöstön toimintaan tuottavasti. The subject of this thesis was the education of personal productivity with the help of gamification. The thesis was done for Soldem Oy. Soldem is a sales organization that mainly operates in remote channels. Soldem produces various sales and customer service services. During the thesis, a management game was prepared for the organization in question, which was tested for two months. Working methods were guided by research-based development, where activities are developed in a very practical way, but the results are evaluated based on research.
In the theory part, we learned about the concept of gamification and its elements of management, which gamification primarily tried to influence. Based on the theory, a hypothesis was created "sales teams would be more productive if they were managed using gamification". The management game was created together with Soldem's sales management. A quantitative line is chosen as the research strategy. The hypothesis was investigated by cross-tabulation, where changes in the variables of two different target groups were compared. The unit's personnel was divided into two parts. One of the groups was managed with the help of a management game and the other continued with normal operational everyday life. The work resulted in a hypothesis, a management game created with the help of theory, and a tested hypothesis.
Based on the final results, the hypothesis can be considered true and the management game was able to influence the personnel's activities productively.
