Future knitting and handicraft patterns and online courses were studied and developed together with customers. The Pestel analysis and the Business Model Canvas (BMC) were used to identify topics and themes for future courses and patterns. They show the covid 19 pandemic and staying home with family and crafts.
The development work was built around three different experiments. In the development work, customer profiles were created for the company and the service path of the customer and test knitters was clarified.
The experiments were designed into online courses that were sold by the company. Feedback from volunteer test knitters became an important resource for development work. They rationalized the service path, which is also reflected in the service path of the test knitter.
To justify the Pestel analysis and experiments, future online courses emphasized contact with test knitters and customers. Social knitting, ecology and easy-to-adopt guidelines already provided the company with a regular income during the experiments and a basis for planning new courses.
