Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyö tehtiin Turun ammattikorkeakoululle osana EduCityn kampuksen uuden hitsauslaboratorion rakentamista. Työn aiheena oli Kempin Weldeye -pilvipalveluun itseoppimisympäristön luominen. Tavoitteena oli että pilvipalvelun työkaluja hyväksi käyttäen saataisiin luotua oppimisympäristö, jossa opiskelija voisi työskennellä itsenäisesti laboratoriossa suoritettuaan ensin tietyt tehtävät pilvipalvelussa.
Weldeye-valmius asennettiin kolmeen hitsauslaitteiseen Kempin työntekijöiden avustuksella. Weldeye-valmius laboratoriossa löytyy kahdelta Kempact 323A –käsi-MIG-virtalähteeltä ja Kempin A7-virtalähteestä, johon on yhdistetty Universal Robotsin UR10e-yhteistyörobotti. Weldeyeta käytetään yhdistämällä Android-laite Bluetoothin avulla virtalähteeseen Kempi Weldeye sovellusta käyttäen.
Työ aloitettiin tutustumalla pilvipalvelun työkaluihin ja pohtimalla kuinka niitä voitaisiin käyttää opetuskäytössä. Pilvipalveluun saatiin luotua projekti, johon voi luoda erilaisia hitsausharjoituksia opiskelijoille. Osana työtä luotiin myös ohjeet opiskelijoita varten Weldeyen käyttöön; harjoitusten suorittamiseen sekä hitsausasiakirjojen luontiin palvelussa. Lopuksi palvelun toimintaa testattiin suorittamalla käytännössä hitsejä Weldeyen kanssa. Järjestelmä saatiin toimimaan siten, että hitsauksesta saadaan välitön palaute, ja raportti suoritetusta harjoituksesta tallentuu pilvipalveluun, jolloin harjoitusten suorittamista pystytään seuraamaan sitä kautta. This thesis was commissioned by Turku University of Applied Sciences as part of constructing a welding laboratory in the new EduCity campus. The goal of this thesis was to create a possibility for students to work independently in the welding laboratory by using the tools that Kemppi’s Weldeye cloud services offer.
Weldeye was installed to three welding machines with some help from Kemppi’s employees. Weldeye can be used in the laboratory with two Kempact 323A MIG-welding power supplies and with Kemppi A7 power supply, which is connected to UR10e- collaborative robot made by Universal Robots. Weldeye can be used with these machines by connecting to them via Bluetooth. Connecting requires an Android-device and Weldeye application, which can be downloaded from Google Play-store.
The work began with exploring the tools offered by Weldeye and how these could be used in educational use. A project was made in the cloud service, where it is possible to create welding exercises for students. As a part of the thesis instructions for using Weldeye were made for students. The instructions show how to complete exercises using Weldeye and also how to create welding documents, like WPS’s, with Weldeye. Weldeye works so that it gives direct feedback after completing an exercise and creates a report from it which is saved in the cloud. The reports can be used to track exercises completed by students.
