Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli tuoda lapsen näkökulma osaksi avoperhekuntoutuspalve-lun kehittämistä. Yhteistoiminnallinen kehittämistyö toteutui Jyväskylän kaupungin tehos-tetun perhetyön yksikön ja Mattilan perhekuntoutuksen työryhmän toimesta. Lastensuo-jelun asiakaslapsen näkökulman mukaan tuomisella tähdättiin lapsen kuulluksi tulemi-seen, lapsen asiakasosallisuuden vahvistumiseen, ammattilaisten ymmärrystä laajentavan kokemustiedon keräämiseen, sekä eettisesti kestävän ja lapsen osallisuusoikeudet huo-mioivan lastensuojelun palvelumuodon kehittämiseen.
Laadullinen tutkimus toteutettiin kokoamalla toimeksiantajan lapsilähtöistä kehittämis-työtä tukeva teoreettinen viitekehys, sekä luomalla toiminnallisia elementtejä sisältävä, kolmiosainen, haastattelukokonaisuus. Haastattelut kohdennettiin avoperhekuntoutus-palvelun pilotointiin osallistuneen perheen lapselle, jolla oli kehittämistehtävän tarpee-seen vastaavaa kokemustietoa. Haastattelutilanteet toteutettiin toiminnallisesti ja niitä varten suunniteltiin kolme erilaista työvälinettä sisältävä menetelmälaatikko, josta lapsi sai halutessaan valita elementin itseilmaisunsa tueksi.
Tutkimuksen tarjoama ymmärrys vahvisti käsitystä lapsesta merkityksellistä tietoa tuotta-vana ja omaa elinympäristöään ainutkertaisesti hahmottavana toimijana. Lapsen asiak-kuuden ja arjen kannalta keskeisiksi sisällöiksi nousivat lapsen sosiaalinen verkosto, toimi-juus, sekä lapsilähtöisyys. Toiminnallisten menetelmien soveltuvuuden arvioinnissa kanta-via teemoja olivat työvälineen käyttöarvo, lapsen kohtaaminen, sekä menetelmien toissi-jaisuus. Lapsen kokemuksista kävi ilmi, että avoperhekuntoutusjakson aikana oli saavu-tettu lapselle arjessa todellistuvaa myönteistä muutosta. Aineistosta nousi esille myös tarve kiinnittää erityistä huomiota lapsen prosessiosallisuuden toteutumiseen. The aim of the thesis was to provide a child 's perspective to be used as part of the develop-ment of the open family rehabilitation service. The co-operative development work was car-ried out by the City of Jyväskylä's Intensified Family Work Unit and Mattila's Family Rehabilita-tion Working Group. The purpose of the client child´s interview was to get knowledge about child´s perspective of child protection and the aim was to make the child heard, to strengthen the child's customer involvement, to gather experience data that expands the understanding of professionals, and to develop an ethically sustainable and child-friendly child protection service.
The qualitative research was carried out by compiling a theoretical frame of reference sup-porting the client's child-centered development work, and by formulating a three-part inter-view containing functional elements. The interviews were aimed at a child of a family who participated in the piloting of the open family rehabilitation service and who had experience based knowledge relevant to the development task. The interview situations were carried out functionally and a method box with three different tools was designed for them, from which the child could choose an element to support his or her self-expression.
The understanding provided by the study strengthened the perception of the child as an actor who produced relevant information and uniquely perceived his or her own living environ-ment. The child's social network, agency, and child orientation became the most important contents for the child's clientele and everyday life. The main themes in assessing the suitabil-ity of functional methods were the use value of the tool, the encounter of the child, and the subsidiarity of the methods. The child's experiences showed that during the open family reha-bilitation period, a positive change had been achieved in the child's everyday life. The material also highlighted the need to pay special attention to the child's process involvement.
