In order to gain more insights into the relationship between entrepreneurial personality and culture, it is crucial to research the impact of cultural differences on entrepreneurial personality and activity that change from country to country. Therefore, this thesis mainly aims to explore the key cultural differences of Finland and Vietnam through the entrepreneurial personality.
In this research paper, the author used qualitative research method and predefined theoretical framework (Hofstede´s cultural dimensions, Trompenaars and Hamden-Turner´s theory) to collect data and analyze results. The interviews were conducted through an in-depth questionnaire with respondents from Finland and Vietnam. The respondents were entrepreneurs from both countries that have fulfilled the sampling criteria. Then, the results were analyzed with the selected theoretical framework and other supporting theory.
Beside the similarity in low Masculinity, since both Finland and Vietnam are Feminine societies; Finnish and Vietnamese cultures are different in all dimensions
considering Hofstede´s Cultural Dimensions Theory and Trompenaars and Hampden-Turner´s theory.
