Tiivistelmä
Toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli suunnitella liikuntaopas kauhavalaiseen päiväkotiin 1-3 -vuotiaiden ryhmään. Liikuntaoppaan tavoitteena on lisätä liikunnan määrää päiväkodissa, sekä helpottaa varhaiskasvattajien liikuntatuokioiden suunnittelua ja toteuttamista. Liikuntaopas sisältää tietoa lasten liikuntasuosituksista, mahdollisuuksista lisätä liikuntaa arjessa sekä antaa helppoja vinkkejä soveltaa liikuntaleikkejä sekä hyötyliikuntaa.
Opinnäytetyössä käytettiin teoriapohjana varhaiskasvatuksen sekä liikunnan tietokirjallisuutta. Opasta varten myös havainnoitiin lapsiryhmää sekä pidettiin kolme erilaista liikuntatuokiota kyseisen päiväkodin 1-3 -vuotiaiden ryhmän lapsille. Liikuntatuokioiden avulla havainnoitiin lasten tarpeita, mieltymyksiä, onnistumista sekä tietenkin mahdollisia epäkohtia. Havainnoinnin avulla on tarkoitus kehittää toimintaa.
Tavoitteena on luovuttaa opinnäytetyön tuotos eli liikuntaopas päiväkodin henkilökunnan käyttöön. Oppaan hyödyt selviävät pidemmän aikavälin tuloksena, joten opinnäytetyössä ei ole tarkoitus seurata oppaan toimivuutta tai tuloksia. The purpose of this practise-based bachelor’s thesis is to make a physical activity guide for one to three year old children in a kindergarten in Kauhava. The aim of the guide is to formulate a strategy to increase the amount of physical activity for the children, by making the planning and implementation of physical
exercise easier. This guide contains information about recommended physical exercise levels and possibilities for increasing physical activity in the children’s everyday lives. The aim is to provide easy tips and recommendations as to how to apply kinematic play to the children’s day- to-day activities, with the intention of increasing the amount of everyday physical exercise.
The theoretical basis of this bachelor´s thesis is professional literature in the areas of early childhood education and physical exercise. A group of children have been studied and three separate physical education sessions were held to the children between the ages 1-3. As a result of these sessions, the children's needs and preferences were monitored, and their strengths and weaknesses were recorded. These assessments were necessary in order to develop activity suggestions.
The aim is to make a physical education guide to be used by the kindergarten staff. The benefits of the guide can be seen later and the aim is not to follow how well the
guide works in the everyday life of a kindergarten.
