Tiivistelmä
The main objective of this work is to develop the saddle as a part of the robotic horse project. The purpose of the saddle is to determine the rider’s position and the magnitude of the applied force in three directions. The results of the determination are shown on the screen and should be convenient for the rider and his/her coach.
The formula for the determination of the rider’s position was achieved from the kinematic analysis of the saddle. For analysis, the saddle was considered a parallel manipulator. To check the correctness of the formula, it was tested on the virtual model of the saddle. The visualization was made as a heat map, which in real-time mode shows the rider’s position and the magnitude of the force. The heat map was written in JavaScript language.
After testing the correctness of the software, the experiment with hardware was made and its results are described in this work.
