Tiivistelmä
Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli saada tietoa erikoissairaanhoidon merkityksellisistä aineettomista resursseista Covid-19 –pandemian aikana. Tärkeimpiä resursseja selvitettiin inhimillisen-, rakenne- ja suhdepääoman näkökulmista.Tämä tutkimus on laadullinen tapaustutkimus, jonka tutkimusaineisto hankittiin haastattelemalla seitsemää erikoissairaanhoidossa työskentelevää henkilöä. Tulokset eivät ole yleistettävissä erikoissairaanhoitoon yleisesti.
Inhimillisen pääoman osalta merkityksellisin aineeton resurssi erikoissairaanhoidossa Covid-19 -epidemian aikana on henkilöstön tiedot ja taidot. Tutkimusaineiston analyysin perusteella hoitohenkilöstön joustavuutta pidettiin myös merkityksellisenä aineettomana resurssina. Tiedon jakaminen oli kolmen tärkeimmän avainresurssin joukossa. Viestintä oli tämän tutkimuksen tulosten perusteella yksi ydinkompetenssi Covid-19 –epidemian aikana. Tiedon jakaminen oli onnistunut hyvin. Hiljaisen tiedon siirtäminen tuotiin esille haasteena ja kehittämisen kohteena. Lisäksi dokumentoidun tiedon jakaminen ja epidemian aikaisen tiedon implementoiminen käytäntöön on tämän tutkimuksen tulosten perusteella ollut osittain haasteellista samoin kuin jatkuvasti jopa päivittäin muuttuvan tiedon omaksuminen ja oikean tiedon omaksumisen varmistaminen hoitohenkilöstölle. The aim of this study was to get information on the relevant intangible resources of special medical care during the Covid-19 pandemic. The most important resources were explored from the perspectives of human, structural, and relational capital. This study is the qualitative case study whose research material was obtained by interviewing seven people working in specialist care. The results are not generalizable to specialist care in general.
In terms of human capital, the most significant intangible resource in specialist care during the Covid-19 epidemic is the knowledge and skills of staff. Based on the analysis of the research material, the flexibility of nursing staff was also considered a significant intangible resource. Information sharing was among the top three key resources. Based on the results of this study, communication was one of the core competencies during the Covid-19 epidemic. The sharing of information had been successful. The transfer of tacit knowledge was highlighted as a challenge and an area for development. In addition, the sharing of documented information and the practical implementation of information during the epidemic have been partly challenging based on the results of this study, as has the acquisition of the right information, which is constantly changing on a daily basis, and the one challenge is ensure the right information for the staff.
