14-15th cc. 1) One red (or vermilion) large initial ornamented with blue hairlines, and 2) one blue ornamented with red hairlines, are visible. Small initials are highlighted with red. Quadratic notation on a red four-line staff, (12 mm, ruled with a rastrum), b rotundum, linea (not many). In many cases the incipit ofi a chant is indicated by a duplex linea. ANTIPHONARIUM. Conforms to Dominican use, Breviarium Dominicanum 1485 passim. Concerning the provenance and the date of the original Ms. it is worth noting that St. Sigfrid and St. Vincent OP (can. 1455) are not observed. Note the remark on an inserted paper leaf written by Dr. Haapanen: "Antiphonale Domin-Aboense 14.(-15.) vs.".

A narrow strip of parchment, originally the outer edge off. 3, was previously bound to a now unknown loose-leaf of a missal. According to a note written by Dr. Haapanen this contained taxes of theyear 1600 from Finland.
