Tiivistelmä
Tavoitteena työssä on saada lukija ymmärtämään, mitä jatkuvalla sortumalla tarkoitetaan ja mitä eri menetelmiä sen estämiseksi on olemassa. Työn tarkoituksena on myös tarjota tietoa, miten jatkuvan sortuman estämisen suunnittelun prosessi etenee, sekä tarjota apua pystysidonnan suunnittelua varten. Ensisijaisena menetelmänä tätä työtä tehdessä toimi kirjalliset lähteet sekä artikkelit jatkuvaan sortumaan liittyen.
Jatkuvalla sortumalla tarkoitetaan tilannetta, jossa paikallisesta vauriosta johtuen syntyy kohtuuttoman laajat vauriot. Jatkuvan sortuman estäminen liittyy rakenteiden vaurionsietokyvyn eli sitkeyden parantamiseen. Jatkuvan sortuman estämiseksi on olemassa erilaisia keinoja, joista yleisimmin käytetty on sidejärjestelmä. Tutkinta osiossa on esitetty yleisimpiä pystysidonnan ratkaisuja. Ratkaisut ovat oikeissa kohteissa käytettyjä, mutta esimerkkilaskut ovat teoreettisia eivätkä ole kytköksissä mihinkään kohteeseen. Esimerkkilaskut sopivat hyvin suunnittelun tueksi, pystyvoimia laskettaessa.
Rakennukset jaotellaan suunnittelussa eri seuraamusluokkiin, riippuen niihin kohdistuvien mahdollisten vaurioiden seurauksista. Prosessin suunnittelu eroaa eri seuraamusluokissa. Tässä työssä tarkastellaan CC2- ja CC3- luokkien prosessin eteneminen. Rakennuksen sisällä voidaan kuitenkin eri rakenneosat jaotella mahdollisesti samaan, korkeampaan tai matalampaan seuraamusluokkaan. Sidejärjestelmä on yleisimmin käytetty keino jatkuvan sortuman estämiseksi. Tavoitteena sidejärjestelmällä on saavuttaa mahdollisimman monoliittinen rakennelma eri rakennusosien välille.
Työn tuloksena saatiin hyvä ja selkeä kokoelma asioista mitä jatkuvan sortuman estämiseen kuuluu, sekä vähän tarkemmin tarkasteltua pystysidontojen mitoitusta ja eri toteutusvaihtoehtoja. Jatkuvan sortuman estämisestä on vielä hyvin vähän kirjallisuutta, joten jatkuvan sortuman estämisen suunnittelussa joudutaan turvautumaan vain muutamiin lähteisiin. Hyviä lähteitä jatkuvaan sortumaan liittyen on RIL 201 -4-2017 sekä betoninormikortti 23. Työ on erityisesti tarkoitettu rakennusalan ammattilaisille, sekä suunnittelijoille. The aim of the work is to make the reader understand what is meant by progressive collapse and what different methods exist to prevent it. The purpose of the work is also to provide information on how the process of planning the prevention of progressive collapse progresses, as well as to provide assistance for the design of vertical binding. The primary method of doing this work was written sources as well as articles related to the progressive collapse.
Progressive collapse refers to a situation in which unreasonably extensive damage occurs due to local damage. Preventing progressive collapse is related to improving the damage resistance of structures. There are various means to prevent progressive collapse, the most commonly used method is the binding system. The most common vertical binding solutions are presented in the Investigation section. The solutions are used in actual projects, but the example calculations are theoretical and not linked to any project. The example calculations are well suited to support the design when calculating vertical forces. Buildings are divided into different categories of sanctions in the design, depending on the consequences of possible damage to them. The design of the process differs in different sanction categories. In this work, the progress of the CC2 and CC3 class process is reviewed. However, within a building, different sections can be divided into the same, higher or lower sanction category. The binding system is the most commonly used method of preventing progressive collapse.
The binding system consists of horizontal and vertical ties. The vertical ties must be continuous from the lowest layer to the level of the upper bottom. The most commonly used vertical bindings are wall shoes, column shoes and threaded pipes. Horizontal ties consist of outer steels and internal ties. The aim of the binding system is to achieve the most monolithic structure possible between the various building components.
The result of the work was a good and clear collection of issues related to the prevention of progressive collapse, as well as a slightly closer examination of the dimensioning of vertical bindings and different implementation options. There is still very little literature on the prevention of progressive collapse, so only a few sources can be used to plan for the prevention of progressive collapse. Good sources for progressive collapse are RIL 201 -4-2017 and concrete standard card 23. The work is especially intended for construction professionals and designers.
