Tiivistelmä
The fourth industrial revolution brought machine-to-machine communications and a wide range of opportunities for businesses to innovate with intelligent machines and technology. Many experts, including PSM sector representatives, are in the process of upgrading their skills and organizational capabilities due to rapid technological change.
The author's primary goal in conducting this research is to create new knowledge, particularly in the field of individual-level competencies, and to make a contribution to the research topic that is being investigated.
This study reviews and identifies the most important PSM skills and organizational capabilities required. In this study, the author uses the "World Cafe" exploratory-qualitative approach to collect primary data. An online "World Cafe" technique helped collect first-source qualitative data and identify new skills and competencies required by PSM sector representatives. Estonian PSM experts involved in this study helped the author identify and analyze in depth ten future skills and competencies. To summarize, it is important to note that eight skills have already been mentioned by other authors in earlier scientific publications.
