Tiivistelmä
Olemassa olevan kiinteistökannan energiatehokkuutta pyritään parantamaan jatkuvasti. Suomen valtio tukee energiatehokkuustoimintaa investointiavustuksin.
Jäteilman lämpöenergian hyödyntäminen käyttöveden esilämmitykseen on kannattavaa, vaikka ilmanvaihtokoneessa on jo ennestään 50 % lämpötilahyötysuhteella toimiva LTO-laite. The aim is to continuously improve the energy efficiency of the existing property portfolio. The Finnish state supports energy efficiency activities with investment grants. Many major real estate players are involved in the energy efficiency agreement and are making long-term efforts to improve energy efficiency.
The aim of this thesis was to find out the economic viability of an energy efficiency project. Is heat recovery of the exhaust air from the ventilation unit profitable when the heat is utilized for domestic hot water heating. The work was carried out as a literature search.
In ventilation heat recovery, priority should be given to equipment that transfers the heat from the exhaust air to the supply air. However, these devices do not recover energy outside the heating season. Utilizing the thermal energy of the exhaust air for the preheating of domestic hot water is profitable, even though the ventilation unit already has a heat recovery unit with a 50% efficiency. In addition, the air volume must be always at least 2.0 m3 /s and the water consumption profile must be correct. The project is considered profitable when the interest-free repayment period without energy subsidy is less than ten years.
