Tiivistelmä
Tässä tutkielmassa selvitettiin miten eri kokoisissa ja eri paikkakunnilla sijaitsevissa logistiikkaterminaaleissa olisi mahdollista hyödyntää aurinkosähköä ja minkälainen tuotto investoinnille olisi mahdollista saada, kun hyödynnetään kiinteistöjen tuntikohtaista energiankulutusta määrittävänä tekijänä mitoituksessa. Tämä diplomityö on tehty Kaukokiito Oy:lle.
Kiinteistökohtaiset simuloinnit toteutettiin Homer Pro -simulointiohjelmalla, jonka perusteella valittiin kiinteistön sähkönkulutusta, sähkön hintaa, sijaintia ja ympäristön lämpötilaa hyödyntämällä kiinteistölle teknistaloudellisesti järkevin aurinkovoimalan koko. Simuloinnin tuloksena tehtiin laskelmat aurinkovoimaloiden tuotoista, tuotetun sähkön hinnasta, investoinnin takaisinmaksuajasta ja investoinnin sisäisestä korkokannasta.
Aurinkovoimaloille saatiin 5 % laskentakorkokantaa käyttämällä noin 8 vuoden takaisinmaksuaika, kun otetaan 20 % investointituki huomioon. Aurinkovoimalainvestointien sisäinen korkokanta vaihteli 25 vuoden elinkaarioletuksella kiinteistöstä riippuen välillä 14,8 – 15,5 prosenttia. Takaisinmaksuaikalaskelmat toteutettiin käyttämällä tuntikohtaisen sähkön Spot-hinnan keskiarvoa ajanjaksolta 14.4.2020 – 18.3.2021.
Tutkielman perusteella voidaan todeta, että Suomen olosuhteissa nykyisillä investointikustannuksilla ja sähkön hinnalla, aurinkovoimalaan investointi on teknistaloudellisesta näkökulmasta järkevää. This study examined how it would be possible to utilize solar electricity in logistics terminals of different sizes and locations, and what kind of return on investment could be obtained by utilizing the hourly energy consumption of properties as a determining factor in sizing. This study has been done for Kaukokiito Oy.
The property-specific simulations were performed using the Homer Pro simulation program, which was used to select the property's electricity consumption, electricity price, location, and ambient temperature by utilizing the most economically sensible solar power plant size for the property.
As a result of the simulation, calculations were made on the income from solar power plants, the price of electricity produced, the payback period of the investment and the internal interest rate of the investment.
For solar power plants, a repayment period of approximately 8 years was obtained using a 5% interest rate, considering the 20% investment aid. The internal rate of return on solar power investments varied between 14.8 and 15.5 per cent, depending on the property, with a 25-year life cycle assumption. The payback time calculations were performed using the average hourly electricity Spot price for the period from April 14, 2020, to March 18, 2021.
Based on the study, it can be stated that in Finnish conditions, with the current investment costs and the price of electricity, investing in a solar power plant makes sense from an economic point of view.
