Tiivistelmä
Työterveyshuoltolaki ohjaa sekä työterveyshuollon toimintaa että työnantajan velvollisuutta järjestää työterveyshuoltopalvelut yrityksen työntekijöille. Merkittävä osa, lähes 94 %, suomalaisista työnpaikoista on pieniä, alle 10 henkilöä työllistäviä mikroyrityksiä ja ne lisääntyvät edelleen. Työterveyshuoltopalveluiden tuottajina on sekä yksityisiä että kunnallisia työterveyshuoltoja. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli kuvata mikroyrittäjien kokemuksia saamistaan työterveyshuoltopalveluista. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli, että saadun tutkimustiedon avulla voidaan kehittää työterveyshuollon palveluita vastaamaan mikroyrittäjien ja -yritysten työterveyshuollon tarpeisiin.
Tutkimusaineistona oli Työterveyslaitokselta saatu aineisto. Tutkimusaineisto oli kerätty teemahaastattelulla tammi-kesäkuulla 2014 kymmeneltä mikroyrittäjältä. Tutkimus oli laadullinen ja se analysoitiin induktiivisella sisällönanalyysillä.
Tiedottamisen monimuotoisuus koettiin monipuolisesti tietoa antavana. Aloittaville mikroyrittäjille toivottiin syvällisempää tietoa työterveyshuoltojärjestelmästä sekä työnantajan velvollisuuksista järjestää työterveyshuoltopalvelut mikroyrityksen työntekijöille. Työterveyshuollon tarpeettomana kokeminen oli sekä positiivista että negatiivista, sillä työpaikalla ei ollut työterveyshuollon tarpeita tai saadut palvelut eivät olleet oikein kohdennettuja tai oikea-aikaisia.
Työterveyshuollon palvelujen laadun puutteina koettiin resurssien riittämättömyys vastaanottotoiminnassa ja työterveyshuollon puutteellinen yrityksen toimialan tuntemus. Tyytyväisyys sujuvaan yhteistyöhön ilmeni suunnitelmallisina ja määräaikaisina toimintasuunnitelman tarkistamisina, terveystarkastuksina ja työpaikkakäynteinä sekä tarpeenmukaisina sairasvastaanottoina. Mikroyrittäjät kokivat nykyisen työterveyshuoltojärjestelmän isoille yrityksille suunnitelluiksi ja mikroyrityksille vaikeasti ymmärrettäväksi kokonaisuudeksi.

ABSTRACT
Micro-entrepreneurs experiences of occupational health care services
The Occupational Health Care Act (1383/2001) is controlling occupational health activities and employer s obligation to arrange occupational health care services to company s employees. Almost 94 percent of the Finnish companies are small enterprises that employ less than ten people and the number of those companies is increasing. There are both private and municipal health care service providers in Finland.
The purpose of this thesis was to describe microentrepreneurs experiences of occupational health care services. The aim of this thesis was to develop occupational health care services to better meet the needs of the microentrepreneurs and small enterprises by using the research material of this study.
The data used in this thesis is provided by the Institute of Occupational Health. The data was collected using theme interviews of the ten microentrepreneurs between January and June in 2014. This thesis is qualitative research and analyzed by using inductive content analysis.
Multichannel briefing is providing comprehensive information for microentrepreneurs. Startups expect to get more precise information of occupational health care and they also want to get more information about small enterprises obligation to provide occupational health care services for their employees. Some of microentrepreneurs have experienced that occupational health care services are unnecessary. The lack of necessity have experienced both positive and negative depending on the reasons of unnecessity. Some of the enterprises do not have had any needs for the occupational health care services or services were not properly allocated to enterprises needs. Insufficient resource in consulting hours and unawarness of company s industry were experienced as lack of quality of occupational health care.
Planned and fixed-period revisions of the action plans, physical examinations, visits of occupational health care in the enterprises and the possibility of using the occupational health care when needed are the base for the satisfied co-operation. Microentrepreneurs experienced that the occupational health care system is focused on needs of large enterprises and microentrepreneurs had difficulities to understand the big picture of the occupational health care system.
