Tiivistelmä
The research on techniques to perform simultaneous transmission and reception on the same frequency bands has become a topic of high interest in recent years. Nevertheless, the applicability of digital self-interference cancellers is hindered by the dynamic range limitations of current analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). We show that it is possible to suppress the self-interference component immediately before the signal digitalization by taking samples of the received signals when the interference crosses the zero-amplitude level, and that this method preserves the useful information in the desired signal samples. We also present simulated performance results for this new transceiver architecture.
