Tiivistelmä
Distributed power generation is not future anymore. Solar PV power generation is widely spread and this has an impact on the distribution grid. The biggest impact is the possibility that overvoltages can occur during moments when the energy produced by solar panels is high.
Therefore, the impact of certain factors is described in this master's thesis. Three types of areas are simulated, being urban areas, suburban areas and rural areas. The factors that are studied are the weather conditions, sudden change in weather conditions, the electrical load of households and the surface temperature of photovoltaic modules.
