In my bachelor’s thesis, I will combine different mediums that I consider where my style comes out naturally and is a comfortable to work with. I build tattoo machines from different materials and use it to then scrape images on a plastic surface, and then reinforce the images with ash to make them visible. The second technique is airbrush, which I use to paint freer, bigger, and stronger with. And finally, I will enhance the experience by adding sound to the room. With these mediums, I bring out strong visual images that work around the theme of death, and imitate the sound I hear when I work. In the work, the focus is on the fact that the visual techniques are permanent in their world. The permanent is where I draw the relationship to the context where I highlight themes about life and death, and here the technique and style support the context. Through the work, I will think about the permanence of death, my mortality, and to evoke thoughts of death in life.
