Jotta operointiin liittyviä inhimillisiä tekijöitä voidaan ennakoida, tarkasteltiin, millaisia inhimillisten virheiden mahdollisuuksia laitteiden operoinnissa on.
Opinnäytetyön tutkimusotteena oli konstruktiivinen tutkimus, mikä tarkoitti, että tutkimusongelmaan yritettiin löytää käytännönläheinen ratkaisu, jota testattiin osana tutkimusta.
Opinnäytetyön teoriaosuudessa perehdyttiin erilaisiin inhimillisiin tekijöihin ja inhimillisiin virheisiin. Inhimilliset tekijät liittyvät ihmisiin, työhön ja organisaatioon. Opinnäytetyön tutkimusosassa tarkasteltiin vaihtoehtoja inhimillisten virheiden tunnistamiseksi. Menetelmäksi valittiin Systematic Human Error Reduction and Prediction Approach (SHERPA).
The objective of this thesis was to study how human factors could be predicted in the final disposal of spent nuclear fuel. Human errors can diminish workflow and work quality, or they can lead to accidents or disasters. Reducing human errors can be done by considering human factors.
The study was conducted to final disposal equipment and operating them. The aim was to predict human errors in operating so that would lead to see what kind of human factors were affecting behind human errors.
The thesis was implemented with constructive research, which meant that the solution would combine theoretical and practical approach, and the solution would be tested as part of the thesis.
Theoretical section of this thesis contains a study of different kind of human factors and human errors. Human factors could be seen as part of human, job and organization. Implementation section contains a study of different kind of human error identification methods. Method named Systematic Human Error Reduction and Prediction Approach (SHERPA) was selected to closer study. The method was tried out to operating the Canister transfer and installation vehicle.
The method gave a systematic way to find human errors, so that human factors behind human errors could be observed. With this method human factors can be predicted in the operating of final disposal equipment.
