Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyö tehtiin toimeksiantona Yritys X:lle. Työn tarkoituksena oli tunnistaa hankinnan kokonaiskustannushintaan vaikuttavat tekijät ja laskea niiden vaikutuksia vertailtaessa kotimaisen tukkumyyjän tilausta Kiinasta itse maahantuotavaan tilaukseen.
Tutkimus toteutettiin yhdistelemällä kvalitatiivista ja kvantitatiivista aineistoa. Kvalitatiivinen aineisto kerättiin haastatteluilla. Kvantitatiivinen aineisto sisälsi tuotelistauksen ja laskelmia. Haastatteluissa selvitettiin Yritys X:n organisaatiossa syntyviä kululajeja vertailtavien hankintatyyppien osalta.
The thesis was done as an assignment for Company X. The purpose of this thesis was to identify the cost elements affecting the total cost price of procurement and to calculate their effects when comparing the order of the domestic wholesaler with the order imported from China.
The study was carried out by combining qualitative and quantitative data. Qualitative material was collected through interviews. Quantitative data included a product listing and calculations. The interviews aimed to identify the types of expenses incurred in Company X's organization in both procurement types. The interviews also collected estimates of the department's costs in terms of total procurement costs in order to calculate total cost prices for both types of procurement. Finally, calculations of the formation of total costs for both types of procurement were made, and their differences in the calculations were compared.
According to the interviews, the imported Chinese order involved many more types of costs, risks, and uncertainties. It was also said to require more working hours. When buying from China, the purchase prices are significantly lower than when buying from a domestic wholesaler. Based on the results of the calculations, the total cost of the order imported from China is significantly lower, only 53% of the price of the domestic wholesaler's order, although it involves several types of costs both in warehousing and in the procurement organization. At the end, it is the balance between costs, risks, and uncertainties that needs to be considered when making the final procurement decision.
