Tiivistelmä
Työn tarkoituksena on löytää uusi konsepti akkujen säilytystilaan. Konseptin luomisessa edellytyksenä on mahdollisimman kevyt, ergonominen, kustannustehokas ja kestävä ratkaisu, joka täyttää vaaditut kriteerit haastaviin kaivosolosuhteisiin, seuraten samalla tavallisia tuotekehitysprojektin metodeja. Konseptin kehityksessä otettiin huomioon kaikki toiveista standardeihin.
Opinnäytetyön tilasi Sandvik Mining and Construction Oy.
Sandvikilla on useita akkukoteloita, jonka vuoksi täytyi suunnitella konsepti yhden koneen rakenteeseen sopivaksi. Tämän opinnäytetyön konseptia pystytään tarvittaessa kuitenkin soveltamaan myös muiden akkukoteloiden kehityksessä. The objective of the thesis was to find a new concept for storage space for batteries. In creating the concept, the goal was to find a light, ergonomic, cost-effective and sustainable solution to this problem and meeting the criteria for challenging the mining conditions and following standard product development project methods. The concepts created in research and ideation phase were able to be evaluated and the best concept was chosen. In the development of the concept, everything from wishes to standards was taken into account. The result was a concept that is more practical, lighter and easier to manufacture than its predecessor.
The thesis was commissioned by Sandvik Mining and Construction Oy. Product development has been an important tool for Sandvik through its history. The requirement for success has been the mapping of new markets. This has been successful because of an innovative work environment. The company's success is based on a constant desire to develop, grow and find new markets. This adds value and competitive advantage.
Sandvik has several battery storage methods for different products. That is the reason why there was a need to suit the concept for construction of one machine and the concept of this thesis can be adjusted in development of other battery cases as well.
