Toisessa luvussa tuon esiin eläinten kohtelua teoreettiselta kannalta.
This thesis analyses animals are treated in todays' society and how I've been dealing with this topic in my works so far. I discuss the values connected to my works as well as my working methods.
I beging by describing how my father's art hobby was really present in my childhood and how this affected my artistic identity. I also discuss the roots of my values of animal rights and respecting nature and how these have influenced my artist identity.
In the second chapter, I look at the treatment of animals from a theoretical point of view. I discuss the legislation concerning pain inflicted on farmed animals and how intensive animal farming is contributing to global warming.
The third chapter, I analyse how I deal with animal rights in my works as a topic and what kind of problems and development I have experienced with regard to working methods. I also talk about the power of art and my role as an artist to highlight serious topics as effectively as possible.
In my thesis, I discovered the importance of aesthetic trace when dealed with political topics in art. I also noticed that I'm the only one who can really affect the progression of my artistic identity.
