Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyön tilaaja on valtakunnallisesti toimiva Mannerheimin Lastensuojeluliitto, jonka erikoisalaa ovat lasten, nuorten ja lapsiperheiden arjen ammattilaisena, yhteiskunnallisena vaikuttajana ja vapaaehtoistyön tarjoajana toimiminen. Mannerheimin Lastensuojeluliiton (MLL) perustoimintaan liittyy oleellisesti laspuuden turvaaminen.
Tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena on tarkastella Mannerheimin Lastensuojeluliiton tarjoamalla Itse tehty -projektirahalla toteutettujen nuorten projektien osallisuuskäytäntöjä, kuvailla ja kehittää Itse tehty -projektirahan hallinnointiprosessia. Tavoitteena on myös tarkastella millaisiin nuorten yhteisöistä nouseviin tarpeisiin Itse tehty -projekteilla pyritään vastaamaan.
Opinnäytetyön teoriosuudessa tarkastelin nuorten osallisuutta, osallistamista ja toimijuutta omissa ydinyhteisöissään eli koulussa. Aineistona on käytetty nuorten projektityöryhmien raportteja, jotka perustuvat heidän tekemiinsä projekteihin ajalta 1.1.2017 – 14.3.2019. Aineistoa on analysoitu laadullisen sisällönanalyysin menetelmin ja tulosten kuvailussa on hyödynnetty taulukointia.
Tilaaja sai opinnäytetyöstä arvokasta tietoa Itse tehty -projektirahan avustuksella syntyneiden projektien osallistavista elementeistä ja nuorten henkilökohtaisista oppimis- ja toimijuuskokemuksista sekä ideoita ja työkaluja tämän hetkisen prosessin kehittämiseksi.
