Valmis tapahtumakonsepti palautettiin toimeksiantajalle joulukuussa 2018. Tutkimusaineistoa kerättiin net scoutingin, haastattelujen, kyselytutkimuksen ja havainnoinnin avulla. Tapahtumakonseptin ideoinnin menetelminä käytettiin miellekarttaa, aivoriihtä, profilointia sekä benchmarkingia. Tietoperustana käytettiin kirjallisuutta aiheista tapahtumat, tutkimusmenetelmät, Suomen luonto ja palvelumuotoilu. Palvelumuotoiluprosessin mallina käytettiin Tuulaniemen vuoden 2013 Palvelumuotoilu-kirjassa esiteltyä mallia.
Tutkimustyön tuloksena saatiin kattavaa tietoa potentiaalisten asiakkaiden toiveista ja tarpeista Nuuksion talvitapahtumaa varten. Työn tuotoksena syntyi Nuuksion Talvirieha –tapahtumakonsepti, joka on jaettu kahteen tapahtumaan. Toinen tapahtumista on suunnattu lapsille ja lapsiperheille, ja toinen aikuisille. Tapahtumakonseptin aktiviteetit sijoittuvat Nuuksion Haukkalammen ympäristöön noin 1,5 kilometrin pituiselle reitille.
Toimeksiantajalle lähetettiin visuaalinen PowerPoint –esitys Nuuksion Talvirieha -konseptista. Tavoite toteutui, sillä visuaalinen tapahtumakonsepti saatiin palautettua ajallaan. The objective of this thesis was to establish a winter event concept for Natura Viva Ltd. The concept was created in cooperation with the company’s representatives. The purpose of this thesis was to create activities for the winter season, because when the thesis project started the activities only operated during the summer months. Natura Viva Ltd. can use the concept freely for their future events.
This functional thesis was written during autumn 2018 and spring 2019. The finished concept was delivered to the company in December 2018. Research material was collected using interviews, questionnaire and observation. The ideation methods of the event concept were mind-mapping, brainstorming, profiling, and benchmarking. Literature about events, research methods, Finnish nature, and service design are covered in the theoretical framework.
Versatile information about potential customer wishes and needs was received as a result of the research for the Nuuksio winter event. The outcome of this thesis is a winter event concept for the Nuuksio National Park, which was divided into two different events, one for adults and the other one for families with children. The activities of the event are located around the Haukkalampi area on a path, which is approximately 1.5km back and forth.
A visual PowerPoint presentation of the concept was sent to the company representative by e-mail. The visual concept included the target group, theme and nature of the event, activities and the schedule. The values and the wishes of both the company and potential customers were considered in the event concept. The objective of the thesis is fully met, because the visual concept was delivered to the company on time.
