Lopullisesta ohjeesta tuli kaksipuolinen, A4 kokoinen laminoitu ohje. Ohje lähtee liikkeelle johtojen seinään laittamisesta ja etenee vaihe vaiheelta ohjelman sulkemiseen asti. Apuna ohjeessa käytettiin myös havainnollistavia kuvia. The purpose of this project-based thesis was to draw up a guide for audiometry of hearing aid. The aim was that, according to the instruction, nursing students could study the air conduction hearing with an Primus Ice audiometer. The ways and forms of teaching delivered by polytechnics vary. Saving actions have also hit the polytechnics, and as a result, the number of teaching lessons and simulation teaching has decreased. Simulation lessons / days are therefore rather tight packages and a lot of things should go through during the day. A teacher cannot be tied to just one job /workstation. It is hoped that the guidance in the thesis will facilitate and clarify the students' auditory research and enable reliable hearing examination.
A good guide also frees the teacher to help and guide other workplaces and other jobs. There are different requirements for hearing examination how to do it correctly and reliably. The client of the thesis, Satakunta University of Applied Sciences, discovered the need for good auditory guidelines. Examination of hearing is studied in theory and practice. However, as a job examination of hearing itself is such a multi-step job that it is challenging to survive without proper instruction. In order to produce high quality and reliable results, all students must be able to do the same.
At the beginning of the thesis, an audiometer was introduced. It was then discovered how challenging it is to cope with a hearing aid with an audiometer without help or proper guidance. During the exploration, a lot of illustrative images and video were taken so that it would be easier to do the hearing aid guide. The subject was also studied in theory and the theory of hearing research was written into the thesis report throughout the process. In order to conduct a high-quality hearing examination, it is important that research is always done carefully and correctly.
The first Raw Version of the guide was tested with four different simulation groups. The students gave feedback on how the guide should edited towards the final version, clearer and better served by students. In feedback was required much more detailed and clear advice than what was in the first version. The final guide became a twosided, A4-sized laminated guide. The guide starts moving from putting wires to the wall and proceeds step by step until the program is closed. Illustrative images were also used in this guide.
