Tiivistelmä
The key goal of this study is to find out the validity of the theoretical problem that the author states as the research question. This theoretical problem raises such an urgent issue as the hiring of foreign labor and the attitude of Finnish entrepreneurs to it. The Ossi 2 Project is an orderer of the research and is an organization that focuses on the integration process of people with a migrant background.
The theoretical part covers information about living conditions of the Russian diaspora in Finland, factors affecting foreign labor as well as data that Ossi 2 Project agreed to publish in this thesis.
The research method applied to this study was qualitative. The researcher selected semi-structured in-depth interviewing as the best way to justify the main research question and the theoretical part as well. The interviews were conducted during the period of October 2018.
As shown by the results proved that the theoretical problem was justified and has an impact on certain aspects of Finland as a state. The main general conclusion is that Finnish companies need mobility and change, as well as openness to foreigners, given the economic situation in the country. The problems turned out to be confirmed and require a solution. The author of the study also designed a list of recommendations based on data and research findings.
This thesis may be useful as a methodical recommendation for international students who are willing to build a career or settle down in Finland.
