Tiivistelmä
This thesis is dedicated to assessing Viking Line Abp's opportunities and developing busi-ness on a potential Ukrainian market.
Viking Line Abp is Finland's leading passenger shipping company. Regarding the stabiliza-tion of Ukraine's economy, the increase in passenger numbers and the recent visa-free regulations to European Union the group decided to expand its network and enter the Ukrainian market.
There is organic growth within Ukrainian tourists on Viking Line ferries without making any extra effort on the volumes. As that segment is growing it would be good to get more ad-vantage of it.
Scandinavia is an attractive destination, which popularity among Ukrainians is growing. Ukraine is close enough to Finland and have positive political and economic atmosphere between both countries.
The purpose of the thesis was collecting useful information for the company and developing first business and marketing directions.
