The title of thesis is: An evaluation of WASH programme in Otolo community in Nigeria. Based on this, this thesis centered majorly on examining and evaluating WASH programme being sponsored by EU in partnership with UNICEF. This programme was anchored on the principles of community development affects every facets of community life.
This thesis is a qualitative and made use of descriptive approach in the research process. Therefore, sources of data were basically primary and secondary sources. On the primary sources, focus group interview was used while the secondary sources came from journals, books, and seminar and workshop materials. A thematic analysis was used to analyze the data collected. Therefore, the findings showed that that WASH project in Otolo community has enhanced community participation in development project. Second, Donor agencies like EU, UNICEF have good working relationship with the people which ensured the success of the project. Lastly, WASH which symbolizes has contributed immensely in the overall well-being and the development of Otolo community.
