Tiivistelmä
Examensarbetet ”En litteraturstudie kring stressfaktorer bland hemvårdspersonal” ingår i Projektet NURED (Nurse Education Development). This degree thesis “A literature study about factors of stress among home care nursing staff” is a part of the project NURED (Nurse Education Development). A deductive content analysis of the material gave a result that describe the factors that affects the feeling of stress among home care nursing staff. The result is presented in eleven subheadings that each one describes one factor that can affect the feeling of stress. The result represents by these subheadings: working environment, workload, support and information, the feeling of control, lack of time, lack of staff, the client, nurses’ knowledge, relations, respect and the relatives. In each subheading’s result is which effect the factor has on the feeling of stress to be found., the four last subheadings are connected to the categories that affect the quality of home care. The study is adjusted to the Finnish home care model. The result in this study can awake interest in the stress factors in home care nursing so they can be prevented and make more nurses to want to work in the home care nursing field.
