Tiivistelmä
The aim of this thesis was to find out how to renew the double degree of Savonia University of Ap-plied Sciences and West Anhui University and listed some advantages and disadvantages of a cooperation project. Also the relevant responsible people were interviewed to get the reasons for the termination of this cooperation. The two universities signed the agreement of university cooperation projects in 2005 and the first group students went to Savonia in 2008. The contents of cooperation were always in imperfect teacher exchanges, student exchange, and double degree study. It also introduced the history and development of two university cooperation as well as used questionnaire and SWOT analysis to proof which need to improve and what are cooperation advantages. In addition, the university curriculum, teaching, the situation of Chinese students in Finland and the Chi-nese universities teaching style has indicated that the two universities have taken a solid first step in academic exchange.
All in all, it has been a successful cooperation for both sides, which has enhanced the quality of edu-cation as well as cultivated so much graduated students. Now Savonia University of Applied Scienc-es and West Anhui University has a perfect international office as well as rich relative information. Both universities got some experiences from this cooperation and found some new partners to con-tinue international cooperation.
