The aim with the study was to examine spirituality through the two questions: How does spirituality appear in the terminal patients’ care? and How can nurses nurse/care for pa-tients with another belief? The study was a contract work for Yrkeshögskolan Arcada and was a part of the GROW project. The study was a qualitative study and a common litera-ture study with a deductive concept analysis of seven articles and an inductive concept analysis of the interview. The two analyses was compared with each other. Sivonen’s nine categories about spirituality in health care was used as theoretical reference. The study showed that spirituality is a wide term that don’t have to be a religious term. Holis-tic care is a central part and spirituality appear through words, conversations, touch and fellowship. To care for a patient with another belief system works well since it is the pa-tients’ will and wishes that should be considered and the relationship to family and friends plays a big part of care in the end of live. It is important for nurses to be delicate so they do not create more suffering for the patient. It is also important to be oneself and listen to the patient. The different articles and the interview talked mostly about the same things with small variations.
