Tiivistelmä
Den äldre generationen i Finland idag är väldigt stor, och befolkningen förväntas åldras i en snabb takt. Att satsa på arbetshälsan är av stor vikt för att personalen skall må bra. En balans mellan gott ledarskap, en trygg arbetsmiljö, personalens yrkeskompetens samt den anställdas egen livskontroll är grunden för en god arbetshälsa. Syftet med denna studie är att undersöka vilka faktorer påverkar personalens välbefinnande på arbetsplatsen, och huruvida de är motiverade att fortsätta längre i arbetslivet. Undersökningen är kvalitativ, och förverkligas genom djupintervjuer. I undersökningen deltar sammanlagt 37 personer från fem olika branscher. Undersökningen behandlar ämnena trygghet, utvecklingsmöjligheter, samarbete, jämställdhet och fysisk hälsa. Även faktorer som påverkar beslutet att stanna längre i arbetslivet efter uppnådd lagenlig pensionsålder tas upp. Resultaten visar att personalen i genomsnitt mår bra på arbetsplatsen. Motionsmöjligheterna är bra, och arbetsgivaren stöder upprätthållandet av den fysiska hälsan. Även arbetarskyddet ligger på en bra nivå, medan anställningsförhållandet fick delade åsikter i fråga om trygghet. The number of older people in Finland today is very high, and the population is expected to grow very fast. To take care of the well-being at work is important for the employees to feel well. A balance between good leadership, a safe working environment, profession-al expertise, and the employees own life control is the base for feeling well at work.
The aim of the study is to examine which factors affects the employees well-being at work, and if they are willing to continue their working life after reaching the pension age. The study is qualitative, and is built upon interviews. All together 37 persons from five different businesses participated in our survey. Subjects concerned are safety, possibility to progress, co-operation, equality and physical well-being. Factors affecting the decision of staying longer in the working life after reaching the pension age were also discussed. The results show that the employees in general feels well at the workplace. The possibili-ties to work out are good, and the employer supports the physical health. The safety is also on a good level, while the employment got divided opinions concerning stability.
