Tiivistelmä
In this thesis work a passive house situated in Finland is examined. The aim of this work is to compare these systems and decide which one suits best to the passive house with cold climate conditions of Finland. The comparison is made by the economic criteria.
The study consists of the theoretical part which describes the Passivhaus standard and structural features of the passive house, alternative energy sources and the three heating systems for the passive house; and practical part which includes energy and economical calculations.
The results are shown in tables and appendices following which the conclusions on the best heating system are made.
