This thesis investigates the features of a wearable haptic suit Teslasuit and application development for a haptic interface together with VR technology. It was investigated how the different features of the suit can be activated and how the features could be utilized in the context of an application developed with the Unity game engine. This was accomplished by creating a VR test application where the haptic features of the suit were activated based on events in the application. The properties of the suit that stimulated the sense of touch were found to be accurate from the tests and they could be easily distinguished by the wearer. Based on the test period, feedback was also perceived as an effective way to guide the user in performing virtual tasks in a virtual world, thanks to the effectiveness of the feedback. A suit that tracks movements and affects the senses with feedback was felt to have many possible uses, for example with simulation or training purposes.
