Tiivistelmä
Tämä diplomityö on toteutettu Suomessa toimivalle yksityiselle sosiaali- ja
terveydenhuollon alalla toimivalle yritykselle. Työ keskittyy yksityisen suun
terveydenhuollon myynnin kehittämiseen yrityksessä. Tutkimuksessa
asiakastilanteissaan.
Tutkimuksen tuloksina saatiin, että hammaslääkäri voidaan luokitella
asiantuntijamyyjäksi. Hammaslääkäri haluaa toimia hyvin autonomisesti, mutta
haluaa taustaorganisaatiolta tukea hallinnollisiin asioihin sekä toimivan
työympäristön. Hammaslääkäreillä on motivaatio hankkia pitkäaikaisia
asiakassuhteita ja tarjota laadukasta hoitoa potilaille. Hammaslääkärit eivät
kuitenkaan koe olevansa myyjiä, joka näkyy erityisesti heidän asenteessaan
myynnillisiin tekijöihin. Myynnin johdon näkökulmasta tieto on merkittävä ja
vaikuttaa tapaan johtaa myyntiä. Hammaslääkäreitä ei voi johtaa autoritäärisesti
vaan ennemmin valmentamalla ja pitämällä yllä sisäistä motivaatiota työtä
kohtaan. This master´s thesis has been carried out with a private social- and healthcare
corporation which operates in Finland. The focus of this work is the development
of a dental healthcare business in the case corporation. The research studies the
role of the expert salesperson, service business, selling of services, special
features of dental services, the role of the organization, and the sales process of
the dentist. Of particular interest was what happens in the treatment room from a
sales point of view. The results of the work were especially interesting for the
management and supervisors, but also gave new perspectives on sales and
customer service to the dentists. The material for the work was collected from
literature and actual research material through interviews with management and
experts, and by observing dental practitioners in their authentic client situations.
The results of the study were that dentists could be classified as expert
salespeople. The dentist wants to work very autonomously, but also wants the
support organization to provide administrative support, as well as a wellfunctioning
work environment. Dentists have the motivation to acquire long-term
customer relationships and provide high-quality care for their patients. Dentists,
however, do not feel that they are salespeople, which explains their suspicious
attitude towards sales in general. For sales management, this information is
significant and must be considered in leadership. The leadership cannot be
authoritarian, but rather provide coaching and focus on sustaining internal
motivation.
