Tiivistelmä
Pulssinleveysmoduloidun vaihtosuuntaajan hyötysuhteen parantaminen ja kytkentätaajuuden suurentaminen ovat johtaneet lähtöjännitteen suuritaajuiseen taajuussisältöön kaksitasoisessa, jännitevälipiirillisessä taajuusmuuttajatopologiassa. Kasvava tarve siirtää tehoa myös verkkoon päin on lisännyt aktiivisen verkkosillan käyttöä. Kaksitasoisen aktiivisen verkkosillan vaikutuksesta DC-välipiirin keskipisteen ja kolmivaiheisen kuorman tähtipisteen välinen jännite on nollasta poikkeava aiheuttaen suurentuneen yhteismuotoisen jännitteen taajuusmuuttajan lähtöön ja verkon puolelle. Lisäksi yhteismuotoisten jännitteiden aiheuttamat kytkentätaajuiset häiriövirrat voivat aiheuttaa vikavirtasuojien tahatonta laukeamista, vaikeuttaa EMC-standardien vaatimusten täyttämistä, lisätä moottorin käämieristyksien rasitusta ja mahdollisuutta moottorin laakerivaurioille. Diplomityössä tutkitaan aktiivisen ja passiivisen verkkosillan tuottamaa yhteismuotoista jännitettä simuloinneilla. Esitellään aikaisempaa tutkimustietoa yhteismuotoisen jännitteen ja virran vaimennusratkaisuista aktiivista verkkosiltaa käytettäessä. Tutkimustiedon pohjalta suunnitellaan koelaitteistolle soveltuva suodin. Suotimen toiminta testataan simuloinnein sekä kokeellisin mittauksin. Tehdyt mittaukset osoittavat, että suunniteltu suodin vaimentaa yhteismuotoista jännitettä noin 20 dB verkkosillan kytkentätaajuudella ja tämän jälkeen yli 20 dB/dekadi taajuuteen 100 kHz asti. Lisäksi yhteismuotoisen virran suuruus syöttökaapelin kautta pieneni ehdotetun suotimen vaikutuksesta. Improved efficiency and increased switching frequency of the pulse-width-modulated inverter has led to high-frequency voltage harmonics in two-level voltage source frequency converter topology. Also the growing need for feeding electric power back into the supply grid has increased the use of converters with active front-ends.
Because of the two-level active front-end (PWM network converter), the voltage between DC-link middle-point and three-phase load star-point is nonzero, which causes increased common-mode voltage to the output of the frequency converter as well as to the grid side. In addition, interference currents of the switching frequency caused by the common-mode voltages may cause unintentional tripping of the residual-current devices, complicate the compliance of the EMC-standards, increase voltage stress on motor winding insulations and increase the possibility of the motor bearing failures.
In this Master Thesis the common-mode voltages produced by either active or passive network bridge are studied by simulations. Previous research of the attenuation solutions of the common-mode voltage and current is reviewed. Based on the previous research, suitable filter for the test setup is designed. Filter performance is tested through simulations and experimental measurements.
The measurements show that the designed filter attenuates the common-mode voltage by about 20 dB at the switching frequency of the active front-end and then by over 20 dB/decade up to 100 kHz frequency. In addition, the common-mode current through the supply grid decreased due the proposed filter.
