20 folios. 22-23 x 32.5-34 cm. I column, 10 lines. Some dark places on ff. 2", 7", 13'and 14". The bottom and outer edges of bif. 6/8 have been cut out, as well as the outer edge ofi fi 20. In some cases the original text has been erased for cameral records.
15/16th cc. Large initials red (almost vermilion). Small initials highlighted with red. Quadratic notation with some decadent traits on a red four-line staff (16 mm, ruled with a rastrum), custos, b rotundum, linea, cephalicus. Chant incipits are indicated by duplex lineae. The application ofi lineae is different from the usual one in that they show limits of words in music in places, and sometimes seem to break up melodic Hues illogically. Photograph of fi IT on p. 211. From SRA KA Finska Cameralia 90 five folios can be found, which probably derive from the same original manuscript: "Hendrich Olufzsous /.../ Österbottnn för Ahr 1617" (onefi., incl. Michaelis archangeli,), "Österbotten 1619" (one bif, incl. e.g. omnium sanctorum) and "Hendrich Olufzsous /.../ Österbottnn för ANNO 1618" (one bif, incl. commemorationis animarum).
ANTIPHONARIUM. Conforms to Dominican use, Breviarium Dominicanum 1485 passim.
If the office for the Dedication of the Church was really located between the feasts inventio cruris (3rd ot May) and Petri et Pauli (29th of June), as we suggest, it can be presumed that this fragment represents a manuscript produced for the diocese of Abo. The feast of dedicatio ecclesiae Aboensis was celebrated on the 17th of June, Malin 1925 pp. 206-208.
