F. 1-2 [Ad faciendam memoriam plurimorum confessorum] beginning with the versicle at vespers, Letamini in Domino (ta); Ad memoriam plurimarum virginum; De beata uirgine [in sabbatis] ending in the rubric concerning the versicles and suffrage antiphons at compline. »3s The Saturday office of the Blessed Virgin contains some supplementary items for various seasons, for example the commemorative antiphons Aue stella matutina and Alma redemptoris mater [a purificatione usque ad tamos palmarum], Regina cell and Beata deigenitrix [in tempore paschali]. On the bottom of ff. l'-2r there is a resp., Beata es virgo maria, with music.This addition is written in a later hand, perhaps during the first half of the 16th century.
The names Johan Ottesson (Lehtinen 1961 p. 127: the accountant of Finland) and Krister Hieronymusson (idem pp. 129-130: scrivener at Abo chambers) confirm that the documents were attached to their wrapper in Finland. For instance, in 1609 Ottesson worked with a team which made up a register of the lots and houses of Abo, von Bonsdorff 1889 p. 23. Many legal documents prove his presence in trials in 1620s and 1630s as well.
