Tiivistelmä
The role of Small and Medium Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in Europe has been repeatedly acknowledged at the highest political level. In the year 2008 the European Council expressed strong support for an initiative to strengthen SMEs’ sustainable growth and competitiveness, by publishing a declaration called “Small Business Act” (SBA).
This report has been done to help the decision makers and administrators in European Countries to better serve smaller companies. We hope that the practical results collected into this publication will point out the most important things to arrange in the Baltic Sea States in the long run.
This publication has been done with the resources of BOAT project, which is partly financed by the European Social Fund (ESF).
